The great thing about being a plasterer is over a couple of years of working not only will you be earning money, you will be gaining invaluable experience. If you decide to purchase a property in the future you will be able to plaster the entire property yourself saving you thousands upon thousands of pounds. But that's not all...

As you work at times other tradesman will come and go as your working and you will be able to observe them. This will give you a natural understanding of the order in which those trades have to happen to complete the interior of a house refurbishment. You will also be able to exchange numbers with those tradesman who did a good job. ( this will also bring you more work yourself)

Your confidence will have also naturally grown in the building industry.Now with this knowledge of how to complete a refurbishment of a flat or house and with those tradesmans numbers in your back pocket, if at some point in the future if you do decide to purchase that cheaper run down property; you now have the ability to bring those good tradesman in yourself and run the ENTIRE job from start to finish. This will save you a huge amount of money all round.That's exactly what I did with our home below.

This whole house was a 1970's style.    Everything was changed! 

All the walls of our house had to be plastered before applying the specialist finishes.

 (A sneak peak into specialist finishing) Thats right, the walls have to be plastered first if they are not flat and smooth before applying the specialist finishes. That's how important the plastering stage is!

You may be thinking well that all sounds well and good, but I'm a shy person. Well, I was a really shy person at the very beginning and the amazing thing, is after the first few months of seeing and doing my first jobs that begins to melt away. Everything happens in stages.
